With our songlist, you can be as choosy as you want to be:
Go through the categories in any order you want. You may want to choose our slow dances first.

  • Bride & Groom's FIRST DANCE:

  • LAST DANCE (optional)

  • Father/Daughter Dance Song

  • The Bride will dance with her: Father, Step-Father, Other

  • Mother/Groom Dance Song

  • The Groom will dance with his: Mother, Step-Mother, Other


  • Combination Father/Daughter & Mother/Groom Dance (You may consider this option if any of you are a bit on the shy side. Some couples combine the above two dances into a single dance. Usually you will only select one or the other.)


    Other Specialty Dances
  • Bride & Groom with Bridal Party

    Traditionally ACE OF HEARTS asks all the guests to join the bridal party on the floor about half way through this song. It is a good idea to have a couple of these during the reception.

  • OPTIONAL: The Dollar Dance (Money Dance) is a matter of personal preference. Some Bridal couples say it makes the guests feel uncomfortable and in most cases may look a bit tacky. You can let us know how you feel and if you wish to do this. Ace of Hearts only performs this dance per your advance request.


  • Other Specialty Dance

  • During dinner/buffet we wish to hear: Jazz, Easy Listening (Light vocals), Or let the DJ choose something nice

Reception Music
We are often asked "How many songs can the DJ play?" This varies on the amount of special events like Cake, Garter, Special Dances, etc… you choose to have during your reception. The average is about 13 songs per hour (depending upon the song lengths.. Approximately 50 selections during an average 4-hour reception.

Also we're often asked "How many songs should the bridal couple choose?" This is your personal preference, but we have found through our experience that a reception works best when the Bridal couple selects about 1/3 if the songs and then lets our experienced DJ "read the reception mood" and choose the rest based upon guest input and the styles of music you select.

Choose as many songs, or as few, as you want to hear. If you want, you can put a star (*) next to ones you really like.

NOTE: ACE OF HEARTS DJs reserves the right to NOT play songs that are considered obscene, racially motivated, or incites violence. All requests are subject to availability.

    Feel free to list any songs that you don't want. Whether it's just 1 song or whole categories - it's up to you!
