a) Question: How do I know the DJ company we hire for our reception will do what we want?
Answer: By hiring ACE OF HEARTS DJ's. We personally train each DJ to be an entertainer while representing our company in a positive way. We guarantee each staff member to be the highest of quality and professionalism. We're confident that our entire staff can please your individual needs. We coordinate the entire reception in advance with you. Remember...it's your day!

b) Question: What do I need to supply the DJ?
Answer: (2) Six foot separately skirted banquet tables
(2) Separate power plugs within 15 feet of the DJ tables
(1) Sheltered area should reception be outdoors
(1) Private changing area (Bathroom)

c) Question: What time will the ACE OF HEARTS DJ arrive?
Answer: About 90 minutes prior to the arrival of your guests at the reception site. (Please have someone there to let us in). Remember, we do not charge for any set-up or breakdown time.

d) Question: Do I need to provide the DJ with food or refreshments?
Answer: The offer is always appreciated, but it is totally up to you. Remember alcoholic beverages for the DJ are strictly against ACE OF HEARTS employee policies.

e) Question: Is your company an agency or do you hire any outside sub-contract DJs?
Answer: NO! (Most other companies are just this), ACE OF HEARTS owns and maintains all of our equipment and vehicles. All of our DJ's work directly for our company and only for our company, this helps us consistently give you the quality you are looking for.

f) Question: Do you use professional sound and lighting equipment?
Answer: Yes! Cerwin-Vega, Stanton, QSC, JVC, Electro Voice, Sony, Gemini, just to name a few.

g) Question: Do you carry back-up equipment?
Answer: Yes! So your reception is never in jeopardy.

h) Question: Should I tip the DJ?
Answer: Most people do, but it's totally up to you!

i) Question: Will the DJ get involved with the reception?
Answer: Yes! ACE OF HEARTS takes pride in our professional ability to "interact" with you and your guests to the level you desire. We customize our personalities to fit your fun-filled needs.

j) Question: Will the DJ take song requests during the reception?
Answer: Yes! Although some couples have asked us not to take requests from anyone but the immediate bridal party, but this is up to you.

k) Question: How does the DJ dress for the reception?
Answer: Our DJ's prefer to wear tuxedos. Should you desire some other form of attire, just let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate your wishes.

l) Question: Do you provide lighting for the dancing area?
Answer: Yes! We provide a very romantic set and FREE with every program we send out. It includes: mirror balls, strobes, and various colored mood lights.

m) Question: What if I have additional questions?
Answer: Please call us! We will be happy to assist you in any way possible, as a part of our professional services. We are a full-time company.

n) Question: Can we have the DJ stay longer at the reception?
Answer: Yes! ACE OF HEARTS exclusively performs at your reception. But you might want to plan this in advance with the reception hall since most will not let you stay over the scheduled time unless you notify them in advance to your plans. (We charge $50 per each additional performance hour) You can tell the DJ this during your event.
